Did you know that you can get free stuff from your local drug store every week? I can’t even tell you the last time I bought my health or beauty products with cash. I’ve learned how to do the “Drug Store Game.” So I’ve been asked several times about the “Drug Store Games” and how they actual work and the point. I figured no better time than now to get together a multi-part posts on everything you need to know about the 3 major drug store chains. RiteAid, Walgreens, and CVS. You can make money off of your purchases and even get stuff for free. You just have to know how to play the game.
Part 1:: How to earn and use (Basic Foundation)
::Rite Aid::
Rite Aid does Single Check rebates. How this works is you sign up online and shop in your local store. If an item on your receipt had a rebate you then submit your receipt info monthly for a check to be mailed to you. You then have 30 days to utilize your check. There are no store cards to scan during purchase.
::CVS::
Shop at your local store and make sure to scan your “Extra Care” card at check out to get saving on your receipt that you can use on a future trip. You must save these portions on your receipt to use on your next visit. Also, at the end of each quarter, you get 2 percent of all purchases back. Plus you can earn 1 extra buck for each 2 prescriptions you fill. These “extra bucks” can be used during your next transaction and expire 2-4 weeks after printing. They can be used as cash, no minimum purchase required.
Register Rewards. No need to register or utilize a rewards card. The savings you earn are printed with your receipt. Use these rewards on your next purchase like cash. You have 2 weeks to use your register rewards. No need to remember a card or enter in any info after purchasing, just save your receipt.
Part 2 will cover additional ways to earn rewards besides just purchasing items.
Part 3 will cover how to earn money and maximize your savings
